Kilimbi
Kilimbi is the very first of the Muraho Trading Company stations and like Rugali had its first harvest in 2016. Being built in March, this station takes in cherries from 463 surrounding farmers in the area. On average the annual production of Kilimbi is 300-350 metric tonnes, with the quality of lots varying from great bulk blender lots to very high quality micro lots.
Kilimbi is one of the first two stations allowed to produce Honey and Natural processed coffees in Rwanda by the Rwandan government. The other station was neighbouring Rugali. Naturally processed micro lots from Kilimbi have been used in both the Australian and Iranian Barista Championships.
